For clubs, schools and companies

If you run a Discord server for a club, a school, a company community or an esports organisation, features are only part of the picture. It also matters where data is stored, who can see what and how you get rid of it again. This page lists what Lizbot offers for that.

Data and hosting

Servers in the EU: Bot, API and database run on a server in a Hetzner data centre in Helsinki, Finland. The website is delivered through the Cloudflare network and payments are handled by Stripe. All service providers with their location and purpose are listed in the privacy policy.
Email from Germany: Emails such as order confirmations or sign-in links for the support portal are sent through a mail server at a provider in Germany.
No tracking cookies: The website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics. We count page views with our own statistics without cookies and only store daily totals.
Four languages: Dashboard, bot and website are available in English, German, French and Spanish. The privacy policy and the terms are available in all four languages too, with the German version being binding. The data processing agreement and the legal notice are in German.

Contracts and data rights

Data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR): If Lizbot processes personal data on your behalf, for example in tickets or the support portal, you conclude the data processing agreement in the dashboard. You can read the text beforehand.
Export and deletion for the server: Server admins export all data of their server as a file in the dashboard and can delete it there. If you remove the bot, we delete the server data after 30 days, and an export is still possible until then.
Self-service for every member: Under "My data" every member can see what Lizbot stores about their Discord account, download it or delete it, even without a server of their own. Data we have to keep for legal reasons, such as billing records, is excluded.
Retention by plan: Audit log and server statistics are kept for 14 days (Free), 30 days (Pro) or 365 days (Studio). Ticket transcripts for 30 days (Free), 90 days (Pro) or without a fixed limit (Studio), and you can delete single entries yourself at any time.

Team and control

Permissions per role: On the team page you set per Discord role what someone may do in the dashboard: view, answer or manage tickets, transcripts, cases, reports, appeals, statistics, audit log and settings. You see who gets access as a result.
Audit log: The audit log shows who changed what in the dashboard and in the bot, with a timestamp.
Backups: Back up channels, roles and permissions and restore them. Free keeps 2 backups, Pro keeps 10 and creates backups automatically, Studio keeps 50 and can include up to 1,000 messages per channel.
Time machine: The time machine uses the Discord audit log to detect when an account deletes many channels or roles in a short time, bans or kicks members or hands out dangerous permissions. It acts against the account, pauses invites and raises an alarm. From Pro you can undo an incident exactly, and Studio also takes regular snapshots of the server structure. It cannot act against the server owner or members with roles above Lizbot, there it only raises the alarm.

Support for people without Discord

Support portal without a Discord account (Pro): Parents, customers or partners write to you through a web page and sign in with a link sent by email. Your team handles the request like any other ticket.
Anonymous ticket ratings (Pro): After a ticket, members can rate anonymously. Lizbot then stores no user ID with the answer, and the report only shows it by week, to the server owners as well.

Everything above that does not name a plan is already part of the Free plan. One Studio subscription covers up to three servers, for example for several teams or locations.

All prices are final prices. No VAT is shown or charged under section 19 UStG (small business). Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled for the end of the term, details are in the terms.
